Are classes gender locked like in PoE 1?
Hey, so Im confused a bit, are classes gender locked in PoE 2?
Or Mage can be male/female? Ranger can be male/female? Etc.

They will not cause there's no reason to do so.

Nothing to fix, you are playing a character not yourself or some rando
Not going to happen

The reason is ability to choose - this is arpg after all, so you want to have a character that fits your rpg style, right?

Well OP is known for playing korean p2w and gacha games, he is afraid he wont be able to look at TnA, but disguising it as "choosing your own style"

To be fair I do prefer being able to play as whichever gender I choose to.
Only for aesthetic reasons but I find some classes look better with certain genders than others.

Yes, but I don't see how genderlocks prevent you from doing that.
If I want to play a Ranger type of class, I will play... Ranger. Easy as pie.

Or if you *really* want to play a character of your preferred choice of sex: Assuming the character building is indeed as flexible as advertised; If you want to play a Druid styled character but find Druid too bulky or a man, you can pick... Huntress and build her into a Druid.

Surely you must've considered that?

Me too!
just saying for this particular person it is similar to those "censorship" posts which mostly appear in games featuring lolis.
We all know whats the true reason for those posts

Depending on the class, I just like to play different gender (sometimes it might be in accordance to what game has in store, sometimes not). Maybe you don't care how your character looks but not everyone is like you.
This game was labeled by many as an improvement over Diablo 4 and Poe 1. In Diablo 4 you can customize your character.

True, there are multiple reasons to implement non gender-lock classes.
- rpg aspect
- aesthetic aspect
- fantasy aspect
etc.

Diablo 4 has a vitiligo fetish. PoE2 does not, at least looking at the classes currently present.

This already makes PoE2's genderlocked characters superior.

Besides, like I said, if the flexibility is indeed there as advertised, you can take a lady character and make her into whatever, or a dude and make him be whatever. I really don't see the problem here.

Okay, real question here, what is vitiligo fetish?
