Steam Deck OLED performance?
How well do you think the Steam Deck will handle this game? I feel like this game would be perfect to play on the Steam Deck but I'm afraid of how well it'll run on it.

PoE 1 runs fine on Steam Deck until you get into chaotic late game stuff with large hordes of enemies, then prepare for the game's dynamic resolution to crank all the way down and become super blurry. Still playable.

I assume it'll be similar in PoE 2 since it runs on the same in-house engine. I would avoid character builds with lots of resource intensive effects like projectile spam and minion hordes though.

Thanks for the heads up, I might try to do remote play so I can play it maxed out on the Steam Deck instead, I've never actually done remote play on a Steam Deck but I assume that's how it works?

Don't know where I've read this, but it is playable on steamdeck with a recommended frame cap at 40fps.

Use moonlight and sunshine works flawlessly. It's the main way I play my games on the deck now especially when it comes to new demanding games. Can put your pc to sleep and wake it up while also loading directly into game to not navigate windows etc.
