Stash Tabs

I'm planning to purchase a supporter bundle and join the game but I have no idea how I should spend my points. The stash tabs are more important to me than cosmetics. Do they ever go on sale so I can buy them for less points if I wait? And then, there are so many different stash tabs in the shop, what would a new player realistically need? I wanna use my 1000 points efficiently although I saw some nice cosmetics too so if I can spare some points, I would love to get cosmetic stuff too such as the shark finisher haha

premium if you wanna sell stuff
currency for them orbs
maps for endgame

Rest pretty much depends on how much you like to hoard stuff.

Things from Path of Exile 1 should, key word should, transfer over to Path of Exile 2. So if you've bought stash tabs in PoE1 you likely will have something similar to them in PoE2.
If you never have, yes stash tabs at times do go on sale in Path of Exile 1. I can't say how often or when, but it has happened, so likely to happen in 2 as well.

You don't need the stashes right away, wait for the release, things changes.

For example, currency stash was practically mandatory in PoE1, now they've declared they are squeezing the currencies in PoE2

Also cosmetics changes. It look like 2hand sword cosmetics won't work for dual-wield two-handers.

What do you mean squeezing? The currencies are more to be used to upgrade things over used as trading fodder. Gold will take some of the weight off of that, and the currency items have already been said will drop a bit more often so a player can use them more often to consider upgrading equipment.
Considering you can also break down equipment and get said pieces that can be made into those currencies or possibly just the currency in total, it's not that big of a deal in the same way anymore.

Thanks! I guess making them premium isn't so expensive, 15 points per tabs although it would add up if I purchase many tabs. But there's also the premium bundle that gives several premium tabs. How many of these would I need? I guess I would hoard a little but I have no idea what I can even hoard yet :D

Its kinda subjective so you might wanna wait with the purchase till you see the game and play a bit.

I know ill get currency one and map (waypoint) one just to be safe

Stash tabs , priority. Buy them when they are on sale. Also POE 2, high chance of a new stash tab since there are new currencies and tokens...
