Worth buying early access?
Is it worth buying the early access pack if I've never played any game like this? Or should I wait for the release? I really liked how it looks in the videos and screenshots, got nothing to play now just wanted to try out something new:hollowknight:

I'm kinda in the same boat here, there's nothing else left I wanna play and this game looks cool

if you like ARPGs in generally i would say yes as this really is the next gen of that genre.

I have not played POE1 for a year but I bought the basic EA because I am hyped to jump into this new iteration, and have previously purchased MTX as a thank you for the fun i had in POE1.

If you have nothing else to play and like the look of the gameplay then sure, buy the cheapest pack and can always upgrade in the the future. If you don't like it then it's 30 quid gone but I'm sure you've wasted 30 quid on other activities such as going to the cinema and getting a meal etc.

I'd say its worth it, but you'll loose nothing if you decide to wait till 6th, read some reviews and decide then

Will the game be available for everyone on december 6th, or only for those who bought a special pack? I just didn’t quite understand that...

You need to buy at least the Early Access pack that's 15$

it will be free for anyone around 6 months into 2025 (depending on how EA goes). The paid EA is a supporter period so is not free, but the basic pack is not that expensive for the amount of content in EA already.

Like others said, for now its only buy-to-play. You can either buy (even the cheapest) PoE2 supporter pack and jump in on 6th or wait 6-12months to play for free

No , since you are new to such games. It can be daunting for newbies and casuals.

Try out poe 1 first, it's similar and you use it as a demo before considering poe 2.

The first pack costs only $15 in my region, so I guess I really have nothing to lose. I would try PoE1, but I’m not sure why, especially with the EA of the second one coming out in just a couple of weeks, thank you everyone!

Make sure it's poe 2 support pack. Unless you live in Valhalla and you pay no taxes.

The cheapest poe 2 support pack.should be around 30$.

..maybe... it will have native controller support 😏 ..
But only if you don't mind to be online connected 24/24 all year around !! Wich is THE requirement to even play single / "offline" player.!

Me i pass, iam having an blasting time playing Diablo 2 - Resurrected (with excellent controller support btw 😏)

Why not? It cost mere $15 where I live, I can buy booze for more than that in a single evening :lunar2019piginablanket:

Yes it is, with EA key you will also receive 300 points to spend for stash tabs that will probably be often on sale
