hide ally projectiles

so has there been any info on this? to hide projectiles of allies in your party?
playing poe with my brother was fun but endgame was impossible as i could not see the boss mechanics as all i saw were lightning strike projectiles, it lagged my game and made me unable to focus on boss attacks.
will this have options to reduce them or simply remove them?

Hope POE 2 will have less clutter and effects end game. Hard to see what's happening even if you're a solo player. Everything is shiny and emitting light.

Played a round with two mages yesterday, no there is no option I am aware of to disable ally effects and no, with all that lightning and fire flying around on the sceen it's hard to see anything
