24/24 Live Connection for Single player 🤨!

So the game is another 100GB+ install, yet for campaign / single player mode you need to be connected all the time .. Every time 😐 !!

THAT WILL be an HARD PASS for many gamers garanteed 😐 .
And iam one of em ..

Campaign / single player mode never should need the world wide tangling web 24/24 all year around 🤦‍♀️ !!

Especially if the base game requires 100+ GB storage !!
The additional content easily can be done by periodic updates like it alway's has been the case.. Several fixes, nerfs, Dlc's etc.. to name a few.

The constant need for an online connection in games, is nothing more than an eye prying method to violate people's privacy.

What happend to "personal" in → Personal Computer ← yes as in PC .. It's personal → Again ← 🤔 ??

These f2p games thrive on how many players grind on their servers. You can't sell cosmetic mtx if no one is going to admire them online.

That's another thing... It's NOT "f2p" , early access / demo has an price tag... already..

A demo / trial never EVER should have an price tag imo...
While Full version will be free 🤔 ?!? Where's the logic in that !?

And therefor i suspect this game will be another Pay 2 win &/or Money grabbing gambling money pitfall.. once the full version is officially released 😣 !

Don't get me wrong, the game and gameplay mechanics realy REALY looks awesome in every meaning of the word..

Have had MUch fun playing Diablo 2 - Ressurected ...
And the user interface / gui looks very similar imo.

But iam afraid they'll making great and popular games nowdays to exploit every penny out of it one way or another ... unfortunately !!!!!

Veterans of the game say Poe 1 early access was also paid. Back in 2013. Can't confirm, wasn't interested in arpgs back then.

Might be the price is meant to reduce too many people chocking the servers at once, when the ea starts. With the intention of playing or with bad intentions.

For the price you also receive in-game currency that can be used for useful, QoL or for cosmetic purposes.

See , there are so many other ways to prevent server overload... Limited Key give away for instance... Or BETTER yet , they need to go back to the roots and just make an OFFLINE trial/demo portion of the game for every one to enjoy ..

That sure would fix Server problems, since you don't need to be connected to play single player then ..

You can do everything solo or in party of 6. You see other players in town , you can trade from lvl 1 all items except of gold.
Yeah poe 1 back in 2012 had EA packs too , I bought one then

What ? I've been playing Path of exile since 2012 , the MTX is all cosmentics except stash tabs , you can play for free for hundreds of hours , you do only get 4 stash tabs, if you like the game you just need to spend 30-60$ on stash tabs , they do stash tab sales every 3 weeks , I have 20 tabs and I don't have any problems in 4500h .
Poe is one of the most fair free to play games, no GGG will not have , p2w like buying items with $

This one is going to come as a shocker, but nothing is free. It cost a lot of money to make these games and the world doesn't owe you video games to play. People make products to make money.....the same exact reason you will one day go to work and get a job. PoE 1 did no such thing as exploit anyone for money- what that game gives you for free is absolutely absurd. The issue is your entitled mindset, once you get older and get a real job then you are in deep poodoo.

The in game currency you purchase is basically a method to chose the content you want to use in game. No one is mining or gambling away people's money. Unlike the tax you're forced to pay, by the government, where you don't have a say on how those money are used.
