Me dumb. Please help. What to do with a Steam Key

I bought the top supported pack, and eventually (after 8 hours) got a steam key mailed to my poe account. When I try to activate that steam key it says "You already own a game".
Will we need to activate that on Dec 6 to access the game? How to use that key?

When I enter a code i am getting this "this steam account already owns the product associated with this activation code"

Then you should only have 2 keys one for steam and one for epic store.

Go to path of exile website, log in to your account, click account summary, on the right click path of exile 2 early access, all your keys should be there. Check if you linked your Poe account with steam.

Maybe the changed something but I had to type in key manually. Check your steam library for poe2.

yes I have been linked for 5 years. My key is there. When I try to enter to steam, it says "this steam account already owns the product associated with this activation code".

Did you buy from steam directly?

Check your steam library for poe2. Yes, had to manually put in key. Maybe the changed something, check your library maybe now it’s automatic.
