What is wrong with Steam price of Path of Exile 2 Early Access for Polish people?

Hi there, A little question, what the hell happend with the Steam price of Path of Exile 2 Early Access for Polish people? World's second highest price?

Example:
The average salary in Poland is 1 750,56 Euro. PoE 2 price - 32,07€
The average salary in Norway is 4 074,08 Euro. PoE 2 price - 29,02€ (-9.50%)

Another thing is that the price on Steam is 138.99 pln, but on the Epic Games Store it's 118.57 pln. Can we do anything about this?

Nah, it’s not the taxes. We have many examples of correcting the prices this year:
Hades 2 - From 138,99 pln to 117,00 pln,
Bethesda’s Indiana Jones - From 349,00 pln to 299,00 pln,
No Rest for the Wicked - From 179,00 pln to 159,00 pln,
To my understanding, the real source of the issue is Steam's default regional pricing recommendations. Or more precisely, the fact that they have not been adjusted in ~2 years despite currency valuation having shifted quite a bit since then.

Keep in mind, the weather is better in Poland and a vodka bottle goes for $7, whilst in norway a vodka bottle goes for 35$, same goes for rents and food and such I can just guess.

50g of paprika powder in Poland goes for a dollar whilst in Norway $3.75. Staying free from alcohol also make you much more rich in Poland because the consumtion there is hight which is around 11-12 liters of pure alcohol per capita.

Whilst in Norway 6-7 liters of pure alcohol per capita.

Also a pint in Norway can cost 13 USD while in Poland $4 at most.

People in Norway have more reasons to stay inside also because of the weather and the smell from the fishing boats by the coast where alot of people live in Norway. 70% of Norway's population lives within 50 kilometers of the coast, bad smell can travel far if it is in vast quantities.

Probably there are two guys who calculate prices hired by Valve: either one heard of Poland and one thinks poles live at north pole, while the other thinks they live at the south pole, in Antarctica. Thus the price difference!!!

Epic charges less % wise to companies for their service, its also a way worse service so... do what you want with that.

Its a long lasting debate as to why polish prices on Steam by defualt are second only to Switzerland for a lot of the games lol. The only real solution is to write mass letters to Gabe, no petitions, no steam discussion questions. If few thousand people write to him about it then MAYBE it will actually be changed, because its scandalous honestly.

I got the key through PoE website and it was cheaper.

Oh well, they have just lowered the price of the Steam Early Access Packs in Poland.
