Let me get this right. Eary Access key for Earlier Early Access ?

Am I reading that right? Game is going into early access, but you can buy into even earlier access? Not complaining about price, just never seen earlier access featured to an early access title.

You can buy a pack to get access to early access which starts on the 6th and the play it till full release.

Oh I thought the game was going to be in early access for 6 month from what I read a few weeks back. My mistake.

Am i reading your post right? Theres only early access no "earlier early", the game will probably be in EA for around 6 months and it will be free after that.

Early access will start on December 6 and it will last at least 6 months. But there is only that early access. After the full release the game will be free to play.

When does Early Access start on all platforms?
Path of Exile 2 will launch in Early Access at 11am December 6th PST which is Dec 06, 2024 1:00 PM (CST) in your local time on all supported platforms, including a standalone PC client, Steam and Epic Games Store clients as well as Xbox Series and PlayStation 5.

Unfortunately Path of Exile 2 will not be available on MacOS at the start of Early Access, but we’re keen to add support for this platform as soon as possible.

How to join Early Access?
Purchasing one of new Early Access Supporter Packs with a key grants you access.


The game officially enters Early Access on December 6. but you can buy a support key for "Earlier Early Access" right now. That is what I am trying to figure out.

I am not against it, I am bored and Star Wars Out Laws was a flop. If I can get access to the game today, I might buy a supporter key. I just never seen an earlier early access before.

You're not wrong, the early access itself will last at least for 6 months (probably up to a year) before full release.

Like the others have said, you can essentially reserve your access now, but not meaningfully use it yet.

The key you can buy now is not "earlier early access" but just a preorder for the early access on December 6. You cannot play now.

I mean you can always play the first game, it's not going anywhere.
But yeah, after watching some videos from poe2 i'm not returning to the first one lol
