Offline singleplayer?

no ones fault but your own, its called due dilignece, why make a decision to buy something before figuring out what it is youre actually buying? Its not hard to get the information directly from the souce.

if you think it is misleading take it up with Steam. . .

. . .it is a Steam store policy that forces GGG to list the game as F2P even if early access isnt.

How is he wrong. WoW is expected, even required, to play with other people to complete content. You can solo in WoW but will miss out on all end game and PvP content. The whole premise of a MMORPG is dependant on being fully and exclusively online.

PoE is expected to be fully playable solo, 100% of the content of the game can be completed as a single player. At that point offline mode should absolutely be a decent courtesy offered by the developpers.

It is an absolute shame and disgrace that full online single player games have become the industry standard.

Op, you might be interested in Last Epoch, they at least didn't insult the intelligence of players and did grant us offline mode, as opposed to industry giants like PoE and Diablo which absolutely have the money and ability to do so.

the developers have stated that the expected way to play POE is league soft core, trade.
and that is what they design and balance around.

so no the game is not designed or balanced around "100% of the content of the game can be completed as a single player."

I suggest you go watch their interviews on the topic over the years so you don't sound like such a content tourist. . .

we didnt even own physical games. go back and read all those manuals in 80's and 90's you was still just buying a license that they could take away at any time.

Last Epoch have offline mode, play that one instead

Thanks for this suggestion. I'll go for Last Epoch instead. Offline play is important for me also.
