Got a key from friend

PoE 2 is in my library now but steam is still allowing me to buy the 30$ pack, my question is which pack do I currently own is theres a way to know? and if i want to upgrade do i just get 60 one or i have to buy 30 again?

I assume you redeemed the key they gave you on the GGG Website as well? If so, you'll have the bottom level one, with no MTX and 300 coins.

Your friend will have got 4x keys to hand out at that level. They should have given you a key which you redeemed on the Path of Exile website, and I assume gives you the basic tier, which is 300 coin. But now I think about it, it might not be - it might just be the raw access. Just go to the shop and see how many coins you have.

If you've NOT redeemed anything on the PoE Website, then your friend has probably messed up and given you their steam activation key.

Looks like you are correct, I don't have any coins but I do have access, so i can still buy the 30$ pack, my other question is if I buy the 30 pack now is the 60pack gonna still be 60? or will it go down to 30? Im not sure how PoE packages work.

You dont own the $30 one, You own the early access and that IS IT. You dont get the full pack you get a key that is it.

You dont get anything extra when being given a friend key.

You can buy the $30 pack and it'll work (although, that does mean your friend wasted their key). You can then upgrade to the next level up by paying the difference - so after buying the $30, you can pay another $30 to get the 60 - there will be an "Upgrade" button.

Yeah i understand that now I think ill be upgrading it but id like to know if packs are additive or not

If you bought it on steam, your own redemption is automatic.

No dont redeem the extra key just give it to your friend and they redeem it.
