Does poe1 ban affect poe2?

The acc thats linked to my steam got banned for whatever reason and i never bothered to unlink it. Does that affect poe2? Can i just buy it and be fine or do i have to relink another acc or download it thrue the launcher?

Only way to know is to contact GGG. But i think its not a shared ban between the games but i could be wrong. Heck why better email GGG regarding it

Not that its any of your business but the reason for the ban was breach of Section 7. Not cheating. Which could be 1 of million things (none of which ive done btw) i never got specifics, but it was a lvl 40 standard league anyways so i just made a new account.
It kinda sucked to lose whatever cosmetics i had (it was my 1st character) but from that point on i just stayed away from the shop... just in case i receive some random ass ban out of nowhere.

They answered that already in some recent post on the website.
Yes, if you get banned from poe 1, your ACCOUNT is banned, and is therefore useless for poe2

This might be a false-ban GGG has been known to auto-ban accounts once they reach level 40 sometimes on new characters. I've seen it a handful of times posted here and in other places. You usually just contact them and they get back pretty quickly and un-ban you.
