And Path of Exile 2 is an expansion to Path of Exile 1, which was released in 2012, only 3 years after W7. So it should absolutely be compatible.

hoping for platinum compatibility on protondb

Move on from your outdated, obsolete, vulnerable unsupported OS already.

Not an expansion to poe 1 anymore, it is a standalone game now. It is it's own thing the only thing it shares with poe 1 is the lore and some mtx.

This. W7 is a massive security risk that just ain't worth it. May as well switch to Linux since it's free. Mint is somewhat close to looking like W7 without any fiddling. I'm using Arch (EndeavourOS) tho which requires a bit more looking into stuff and things but it's totally worth the time investment IMO, especially with the sheer amount of documentation and enthusiastic power-users for any questions --no matter how dumb-- you've got. :cozypoechris:

Always a joy to see microsoft shills appear as soon as you mention anything regarding windows 7, lol.
I hope you get paid for it at least.

Minimum supported os is Win10, if you use win7, support will just tell you to move on and not to call them again until you've moved on. Or go play PoE 1, nvm it also has min requirement of win10, aka you deal with the problems. If the devs supported win7, the min requirement would be win7.
Any security risks, bugs or whatever, it's your problem and end of story.
