I just did a no-hit run, i don't understand what more to do

The Kill Power meter is the red bar at the top - if you play slowly and aren't killing enemies frequently enough, it will dip back down into a previous level even if you don't get hit.

Sorry, let me be even clearer: if you play slowly and don't pick up the blood orbs by walking on them, your Kill Power decreases. Using the blood orb vacuum ability does not charge Kill Power, it converts the blood orbs to Wrath Burst meter.

Figured out all this from playing - and I didn't play slow or see it go down a level, I'll check the recording, hmm

There's just a lot of systems in this game, I wasn't trying to imply you didn't already know that stuff. :)

If you constantly use the big super-gun thing, and keep sucking in the blood gems through that, you won't increase your power gauge easily because gems into the gun don't count toward the kill meter.

Does shotgun have an effect on the meter?
I can't tell, and refuse to read.
