Exploit/Difficulty issue with Undead Dweller

Take my experience with a grain of salt, since I'm only playing on Normal, but the Undead Dweller poses zero challenge, once you managed to reduce its damage to 1: when unfolding himself, the debuff isn't wiped, and also, after spawning 4 Lich, the board is full and no more Lich can spawn, apparently.
Maybe, upon unfolding itself, the board should be wiped again, so at the very least it is able to spawn more lich? Also make reduced damage regenerate by +1 every time an enemy unfolds again?
Just a thought. Maybe it's also intended, and I'm just that good, lol.
