Gamebreaking Combos Thread
Hey there. Let's make a thread on awesome combos you find that can easily carry a run.

Just had a game with Wanderer + Templar's Helmet that really made me appreciate Wanderer for being more than just a meat shield. It's "does nothing" skill turned every die into +2 health. You can stack this with a bunch more on skill uses. I ended that run on hard with almost 150 hp.

Please share your combos!

Artist + Sunstone:

"How many items?"
"Yes."

If you can get this in the middle of a run your bag will likely get out of control. Hard to lose when you have 10 items in the bag. A little difficult to protect the Artist though. Don't recommend it with shield heroes.

Jack + Gambler + Items that heal main and companion at least 2 when using a skill. Basically infinite health gain because your hero only gets hit for 1 each role with DM present. Just make sure you have the dice to clear the enemy(ies) because they will also have insane attack. Just completed a Jack Hard run with this. (Also had only roll 6s for first roll, very helpful) Killed Hydra and companions in round 1, though it took some time.

Not exactly a combo but choosing Divine Branch trinket and rerolling until you get Cook is a little cheaty. You can start the game with 3-4 items easy and let him die off/replace him going into the first companion round.

Bard companion is usually how I won most runs, period. Seductress was a solid second place companion. Healer never seemed to reach critical mass.

Yeah, Wanderer + Templar's Helmet (the epic one heals for 2 hp, the rare one for 1 hp). That's exactely what I was having in my mind when I saw the title of this discussion. You can go up to 149 HP with that, than healing is no longer working. Wanderer is awesome because his skill only requires 1 dice of whatever value.

Also not really a combo but Bard is super strong as his skill works on the final boss (at least it was working yesterday's evening on Shapeshifter, I assume his called that way in the english version, the one that has 3 forms).

My experience is healing is the only way to win

Yep. I have just two characters left to play on hard, and stalling out for heals makes such an easy game. Boring but consistent.

This!

I been trying out all the different companions and I feel like the bard is broken for almost all the bosses except maybe the plague doctor (I haven't faced him with the bard yet). This is also including going up against the evil versions of the companions. The bard's skill always silenced them and heals the hero which if you have healing items or items that unlocks the skill, they will never be able to attack you. Plus, at this point of the game, you should be rolling about 5+ dice which almost guarantee you to use the skill and do some damage with some healing.
