How's this run on steam deck?
I'm always looking for more roguelike games that I can pick up and put down to check out for my steam deck. Does this work on deck at all? Seems like it shouldn't be hard to play, even with the mouse/pad

Been trying to get answer to no avail. Can the dev actually give us an answer. If we use a mouse or use steam to mimick a mouse with a controller, will this game work?

Hey, I'm unable to give you a clear answer as I don't have the hardware to test it. Tho we have touch system for dice enabled, my guess is the touch "should" work. The game also has native Linux build.

Some players say it works pretty well on Steam Deck. Feel free to purchase, try the game an refund. I'll make sure to fine-tune the game for Steam Deck as soon as I get my hands on one.

Here is a video someone made for it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L6hsFYd0xmw&ab_channel=SDQuesting

Sorry I'm not able to be more useful on this.

I'm a little confused, as I can set Steamdeck as the input type in the game's settings but the setting is always reset after restarting the game or visiting another category/tab of the settings page. From the previous answer I conclude that support is currently not fully implemented or tested yet.

I discovered this game yesterday, I'm a fan of the genre (dice dungeon and dice fold are excellent too) but disappointed with the steam deck compatibility which is a plus when I want to play quietly next to my wife on the sofa or bed ^^
When I install it and launch it on the steam deck it does not take into account my PC cloud backup.
I hope this will be resolved in the future, that would be a big plus

Same issue here. I was hoping to continue my save on my deck that I started on my pc, but my progress wasn’t there.

I'm confused here. It works on steam deck? So far it's been a faulty experience to me. Setting the input device to steam deck doesn't do anything, and I've tried all template layouts with no satisfying results. What settings are you guys using?

Yes, it works with mouse emulation but with that option there, my expectations are that D-pad, joystick and buttons are usable, which they currently are not.

Can confirm. Works on steam deck with track pad acting as a mouse. Progress tracks as well! Would love to have dpad support but definitely still playable
