xb play cloud gaming will not launch

I bought this app purely for cloud gaming, I dont have an xbox but I do have the ultimate game pass will allows cloud streaming, I keep getting failed to authenticate console, am I right in assuming this app is useless unless you own an Xbox, I can stream xbox games on android with no issues.

Exact same. I think the game's description is false & that a console is required outright.

A console is not required. However, you do need a console version of gamepass, the PC only gamepass subscription will not work (since this app is to play xbox games).

Bought this 3 weeks ago. Tried it 4 or 5 times over these 3 weeks. I have yet to have a single cloud game launch in less than 5-10 min... It's always the same message that sits there forever "State: MicrosoftWaitingForResources - (then some random number of minutes)". I usually give up waiting because it's not worth the 5 -10 min wait to launch a game.

Yep, sorry that's XCloud for you at the moment :( If you were to launch via the browser, you would see the rocket ship with the "10 minute queue time" message from Microsoft. Microsofts servers are pretty overloaded (especially with the recent holidays) so the queue time has been pretty long. Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do about this until more servers are added. The only possible workaround is to try a different region, but that may impact latency.
