Using this you can remote play from your xbox console to your steam deck.
This is similar to streaming your console to your PC using the xbox app in windows.
Using this you can stream xbox cloud games on your steam deck.
This is similar to using a browser to stream the xbox cloud games, either on PC or on steam deck.
For steam deck though. this is a little simpler as you do not have to go through the couple extra steps of setting up the browser properly.
This would allow for streaming an xbox library to a steamdeck either locally OR over the internet?
It does for sure work on the same network.
I haven’t tested on a remote network but I think it would work remotely, since my iPhone can do it through the Xbox app, I’m pretty sure this would also do it.
To follow the OP questions...
Remote Play Console to Phone-
XHome: You can play Xbox console games on your Android/iOS/Win/Mac(?)/Linux/Steam Deck.
XCloud: You can play Xbox cloud games on your (same as above).
Control Console-
You can use XBPlay as a media remote, game controller, or voice remote.
Cast Console to Smart Device-
You can use XBPlay to cast to Android/LG/FireTV, TV Cast, MirrorCast.
Cast Phone to Console-
You can use XBPlay to cast video, music, or remote.
Is there no way to Stream locally?
Also 1 review said they downloaded Starfield, but i presume they got terms mixed up as this app can only Stream?
And only way to do PC GPass is to install Windows right?
