I just bought Love since it looked like just my kind of game,
however I was quite dissapointed when I found out that you are not able to rebind keys.
I use a "SNES Controller " (CSL) which isn't even recognised, and even though I own a Xbox controller, I don't consider it's D-pad usable.
You have been warned.
Right now it's like you added four more miles to the Tour de France but expect riders to compete with times run on the shorter course.
Here is my idea: If new players finish the original 12 levels in time, they get an achievement. ADD another achievement for completing the 16 levels in time.
The irony is that this is the first game I've really tried to get time achievements for. Then I learned about the time and the new levels when I started speedrunning it. Aint' that a kick in the pants?
How many people have gotten the achievement since the 4 extrra levels were added compared to the amount of people that got it before?
This is my only gripe surrounding the game. I can't think of Love now without a bit of Hate.
I'd like practice mode to encompass just a single level. You can repeat it over and over, and it will show your best time and current time at the top left. When you finish the level, it just resets and puts you back at the start of the level.
- Can you make it able to change the jump sound in LoveCustom? (It's kinda annoying)
- Can you disable anti-aliasing for LoveCustom? (I dislike the blurriness)
- Can you add some modes into LoveCustom? (speedrun with custom timers, unlimited lives, etc.)
It would be nice if these were implemented into LoveCustom.
If I had a bunch of money and a team backing me, that's something I'd like to put a lot of effort into in a followup to LOVE.
Not that there's a followup underway or anything.
