Instant crash to desktop as others have described.
Should this be available to PC Steam users, if you havent tested it on PC machines?
No hostility, just an honest question. It seems to be happening frequently, and is an instant-crash bug that would have been caught by running it on a PC the first time.
Also: if you need a dumpfile i think i can remember how to do that :)
Just bought it 5 mins ago
Also tried your suggested solution
And still nothing
I built the correct ini file and directory by hand, ill test it now....
Nope.
ran the EXE file straight from the Steam folder, i get a black screen instead of a desktop crash now.
the only way out is an ALT+F4 or reboot.
System Info Dump
all drivers are as current as possible for this machine.
I have no problems running any other OpenGL software.
(Also: the card i have is a hacked together DELL monstrosity that has DELL's proprietary crapware. It identifies as a 9400, but its a 9400m and DELL refuses to update their proprietary drivers, and has locked the card down to prevent user driver updates)
Either way, this is the only OpenGL game i have issues with (i buy all the Humble Indie Bundles ever, and they all run fine)
EDIT: It works fine now!
