It's still a classic from the early days of internet gaming in my book, but it really needs some love as those archaic limitations are very punishing when every modern game conditions you to use esc as a pause button and the lack of borderless makes resizing all your windows each time you tab out a bit annoying.
That's the problem, it's still flash which is long dead and a security risk.
A standalone player running an offline copy of a Flash game from a trusted source is not a security risk and never was.
also flying Mpper has technical issues that cause the steam client to be unable to tell if the game is running or not.
Flash was a security risk as a browser plugin because malicious code in a website could use the plugin to execute itself without user input if flash was set to run automatically. Aside from the fact that most browsers default security setting towards the end of the flash era already blocked flash unless you explicitly allowed the app the risks were minimal without user error. The emulator included for goldium is completely different thing it's a standalone executable. it does not hook your web browser or run any background code so there is no real available attack vector
Agreed. At least port it to unity engine for instance or any other engine so we can customize any visuals/alterations at least. As wide as we want, run on directX/vulcan, and so on. Hopefully vulcan as i can then play it no sweat on my steam deck xD
