HOW TO OPEN THE BOX :(

Does anyone know how to open the box?please.
I'm trying everything and I don't find any clue to open it.

Have you accessed the journal? I don't know how to open the box either, but there's a very big clue in the journal.

Once you finish the game and look north of the windmill and south of the brook you get a message, that messge is how you log into the journel and in there explains how to open it.

Yep. You gotta beat the game first! The reading is a little long for a game, but totally worth it!

Could you please be MORE specific? :)
I finished the game once (and 3 times on the Iphone, months ago, but the hints were different). I've been on the mill and on the brook. There are no hints, no messages, no clues. Nothing whatsoever.

Ok, got it. There's no need to wander at the mill and the brook... just click on the map icon and search for the clues in the right places. :)

So... sounds like everyone's saying they opened the box already. How do you open it though? The clue in the journal didn't help me at all. I'm still stumped.

Ahhhh! I thought the horse was a symbol and missed the square. I went back and read it again. Thanks!

It was good. I liked both endings but I'm a sucker for tragedies, and ending 1 was a liiittle bit more tragic. Wish they could've kept it historically accurate though right? :p
