Screen Resolution Issues

I've noticed that quite a few people have had the issue with half the screen not being accessible on certain computers due to screen resolution issues. Has there ever been a fix found for this? I know someone has been posting in all of these threads about deleting the initial Year Walk registry, but no followup explanation on what that means and if it has worked for folks. Would love to have an answer to be able to play this game!

I solved mine by setting the desktop res to 1920 x 1080,restart the game and then i can move the mouse pointer to the top right and change the settings.

1280 x 720 in full-screen doesn't seem to work; apply does nothing but windowed mode works immediately.
