How's the online coop?

Thinking about picking this up to play through with my brother. Is the entire game coop and does it play well in coop?

i've been playing for a little less than 2 hours with a friend and it was very cool. you can play through the story in coop.
I'd recommand starting with the higher difficulties , otherwise the game might be too easy. Coop makes the game easier, but is still tons of fun.
