"This seems to be a very popular feature request. It is on the list of potential features to be added, however there are some challenges. Because of the nature of the game, dismemberment cannot be implemented the same way it is implemented in most games. Add in the complexity the multiplayer brings and creating this one feature will take weeks, possibly months of development. Not to mention the calculations needed might be too heavy on the processor causing performance issues. For this reason, developing this feature will be considered only after the game is available for purchase."
We do have some modders working on it, it's currently down for bug fixings as they also saw it's not THAT easy!
My first thought was Toribash. Which this game really reminds me of.
