How to have player 2

Hello, how can I opt for player 2 in the game? I invited my friend to play the game, but it seems that both of us can only connect to one cuphead and there is no player 2 available.

Single Computer: Connect a controller for player 2. Remote play: Invite a player that also has a copy of Cuphead via remote play. Remote play is very laggy for the second player.

Ah? One controller, you have only controller? In remote play, move your controller to Slot 2, the game needed a player 1, press any keyboard button, the friend, Turn On the partner keyboard, and Fun, good luck

If you have a friend over at a house you have to have a controller, if not use remote play. I think it's just remote play being bad again.

thanks for the reply guys <3 both of us dont have controller, what i mean is both of us able to "move/control" the same cuphead from remote play...

You need to connect a second controller and as you do a big banner or sign for second player has joined should come up. If you are on pc you need to have one person with a keyboard and one with a controller and on consoles I believe both people with controllers can play well together. Hope this helps!
