I completed this game with only 39 Coins, I am missing one. I've checked every hidden spot. Got all 5 coins in each run N gun stage, and somehow. I'm still missing one Coin.

Does it have to do with Mr. Fork in Isle Three?

I have gotten the coins from Apple boy at the start.

I have helped Axe head.

Doughnut girl has given me a coin

the carnival guy near the tower gives you a coin for parrying 4 times.

What have I missed?! HELP!

I have a feeling you're missing a hidden coin if you've talked to every npc that gives you one and gotten all of the ones in the run n gun segments. Here's a vid hope it helps.

Here's a breakdown of all the 40 coins in Cuphead's base game:
30 from Run n Guns
1 in the tutorial
3 from the Apple Man
1 from the Juggling Guy (4 parries)
1 from the Shortcut Girl (open the bridge/show shortcut around the Isle 2)
4 hidden coins:
1 next to Axeman, 1 next to the cabins on Funhouse Frazzle, 1 behind the booth near Cala, and 1 in Inkwell Hell.
Double check all of these for which you've already got

FOUND IT! IT WAS IN THE CABIN! I WAS JUST STUPID ENOUGH TO NOT WALK INTO IT FAR ENOUGH ON THE RIGHT! I hate to say it, sorry everyone. But thank you for helping. I hate wasting peoples times...
