Cuphead Crash

My game has been crashing up on startup.

"Cuphead - Unity 2017.4.9f1 (6d84dfc57ccf)"

"Cuphead has encountered an error and must close.

A crash report named 'Crash_2019-078-28_ 112120' has been generated. These files can be sent to Studio MDHR for analysis. Would you like to open this folder now?"

I tried:

1. Running in Windows compatibility mode (all pre Windows 10 options)
2. Running as system administrator
3. Verifying the integrity of the game files
4. Uninstalling and reinstalling

What else can I try? My daughter is bereft.

I have encountered this issue in several games. I found that Citrix doesn't have to be uninstalled as suggested in other threads. Just disable the Citrix Virtual Bus Enumerator in Device Manager (under System Devices). It will still allow you to use Citrix (which I need for my work) but won't interfere with games.

I unistall Citrix, open the game, and install Citrix again, soved for me
