Missing one coin?

So I collected all of the coins in the run&gun stages, I also found all of the hidden coins in the map, picked the 3 extra coins from the paperboy on the DLC island and defeated all of the Chess minibosses, yet I only have 3 coins left and the only item I'm missing to buy is 4 coins, what?
