Chalice's parry

So, I didn't even beat the main game, hard-stuck on King Dice, clearing all the bosses but dying every time on this parry spree while fighting with King Dice himself. Anyway, Chalice is available to main game and I reckon you cannot beat some bosses playing for her. In order to parry you need to use dash, but in many cases you will just get hit. For example, you can't parry Hopus Pocus'(rabbit in King Dice's casino) row of card suits. It appears then that Chalice is a situational character and you should consider her as any other charm? Or is there another way of parrying which I didn't noticed due to my incompetence?

if you notice on top of the pink cards in king dice there are some hearts that can parry with ms chalice, but honestly i hate the rabbit and try to use ms chalice's invisible dash in the rabbit phase when the hearts get close I always do this and it works

Yeah, I tried parrying pink cards when he takes them for a walk. but to no avail most of the time, timing is kinda brutal for me. Yet still, I managed to beat The King Dice just now, after a week of trying, didn't even think that some boss might take this long for me. The trick is to get behind his hand, then you can slowly but without taking damage kill him. It is not fixed, like some other exploits in early builds of the game, so I suppose it is by design for folks like me who are having a hard time parrying 3-4 times in a row without landing.
As for rabbit, I usually kill him without taking any damage, the issue is only with Chalice, I bet it is better to go through King Dice without her.
