hearty achievement not working

im entering a level with 9 hearts but im not being given the achievement, some say it should work and some are saying you need to get an extra 2 hearts from king dice which seems annoying to do, what is correct beacause it isnt working when i enter a lvl with 9 hearts

How do you start with 9 hearts?

I just did it against King Dice using the Heart Ring (DLC charm): start with 3 hearts + gain 3 from ring + gain 3 from the board

I've tried many things and the achievement doesnt want to pop. Oh well. Hopefully that gets patched soon.

Go to the King Dice level, lose 1 HP and then get one from the roll and here you go.

This does not work for me, I've tried multiple times and Ive gotten to 9 hp with many different methods.

I did this, got to king dice with 7 hp and could still heal 2 times with the charm, but then when I healed my HP went to 5 an then 6.

So I've tried a couple different ways here.
I'm not sure how people are entering levels with 9 hp, but I've attained 9 hp several times.
I activate game djimmi, go from 3 hp to 6 hp.
I equip the heart charm, allows me to gain 3 hp.
I have tried in simple mode on isle 1, got to 9 hp.
Nothing.
I tried that same level on simple, got to 9 hp and beat the level at 9 hp.
Nothing.
Same thing on Standard. Got to 9 hp, nothing, beat on 9 hp nothing.
I thought it might be within isle 4 only, so I went in there and did the same thing.
simple, 9 hp at some point in the level, nothing, beat on 9 hp, nothing.
standard, same deal. Nada.
So then I went on here and checked, and saw the king dice strategy.
I went in there as well, 6 hp with the ability to heal up.
The problem comes in when I beat the first boss within king dice's gauntlet, which resets game djimmi status and pulls me back to 3hp.
Alright, fine, there is a parryable attack within the first level of king dice's stage.
I even reset until I got the heart up, thinking maybe the achievement is mis-named and you have to get up to 10 hp.
So I went in with 7, got to 9, kept going, got a useless heal at 9hp that would have but did not get me to 10.
Nothing.

What is it? What is going on here? How do you get this achievement?

To get a new achievement (Hearty) in Cuphead, you have to equip the double heart amulet and simply spin until the genie appears.

If after entering some level you haven't got an achievement, then you have to do the same, but going to the King Dice level. Lose 1 HP and then gain it with the dice. After that, you will most likely get an achievement. I found this in a guide

I go to king dice with 9 hp, enter a bossfight, take 1 damage, then kill the boss. when I respawn back at king dice my hp goes down to 5. Probably a glitch, but it makes it impossible for me to get it that way.

That's it, you take one damage with 9 hp, you fight the first mini-boss of the given king, and then you recover it with the next level that gives you one hp, you stay with 6 and then you get the achievement. I got it like this

Apparently that way it works : Go to king dice get 3 hp on the phase and using the Heart Ring and use the parry for get 3 more hp, doing all this without taking damage, you get 9 hearts without "Djimmi cheat" and the achieve is popped.
