PS5 Controller does not work

PS5 controller not cuphead compatible?

Eh Guy ! I have the same issue than you. And I have just settled the problem. I am Frech man who have been learning English language, that's why i won't have maybe the same word in english (I write sometimes the word in French in brackets). But I try it even so.

Follow my instructions and all will be running well :
go to the the game "Cuphead" via Library (in French, it's "bibliothèque"). And at the level where it is written "play", "last utilisation game time" (in French, "dernier utilisation du temps de jeu") and "success", you'll find an icon in shape of cog. Click it and choose property (in French "propriété"). A window pops up, choose "controller". And last, under "replacement for CupHead", put "desactivate Steam input". And restart the game. Magically, your controller runs properly. It's not beautiful that !!!
