How do you get past the first run & gun mission peacefully?

The mushrooms right before the acorn maker will often shoot parryable projectiles you can use to jump over the machine.

You have to use the axe parry for the acorn machine.

I just had the auto fill super thing on and waited at the start for a bit, but that didn't work I have to go over lol

OP's problem is they can't beat the level peacefully. They've probably already beaten the level normally.

Yeah I already beat the game, just kinda going back to beat all the R&G's on peacefully. I got past it tho. I'm on the carnival R&G now.

Well, you did. How are you misreading that sentence? Is English your second language? He is clearly saying, Very clearly saying. That if he isn't good enough to beat a run and gun, he is most likely not good enough to beat the boss to unlock the upgrade. How in the hell did you get what you said from that I'm very curious.

Again, playing or beating an optional level on pacifist has no relation in being able to obtain an ability in the next world.

The issue isn't that they can't beat the level, its that they are having a hard time with completing a PACIFIST run, and if you actually looked at the OP's achievements, you would have noticed that... GASP... they beat the game and got all the super arts already... HOW CRAZY IS THAT ?
