Of course you are going to confront an average amount of elitism in a game labeled in the Steam store as Hard.
I just hope that you get a game that you really want, because this is clearly not your cup of tea.
lol gettin mad from a community of a single player game
That's funny, because most of the players don't even *know* about the dynamic difficulty to begin with, and even then only a few complained about it. Most people end up PRAISING it instead so no idea where your "every one" comes from.
I wish the forums had some actual MODERATION so it could stop being a troll fest. It says a lot about the devs that none of them are ever present here, not even leaving some PR guy to clean up this mess every now and then. Not asking for 24/7 presence but at least TRY to do something during the first month of your release. I bet the pinned bug report thread (Which was most likely pinned by a voluntary Steam moderator) is going to be fully ignored too.
To be fair you didn't really contribute anything to any discussion to begin with. You didn't post in an already existing thread but instead decided to make yet another one of the 300+ existing threads about "game 2 difficult, my baby should be able to finish it", then you created the thread with a very stupid analogy that doesn't make any sense to what you're trying to say and then you barely engaged with anyone for like an entire day only to come back and completely ignore every point made while trying to look pitiful for whatever reason.
Nothing stops anyone from playing the game. If you think it's too hard you lower the difficulty, if you still have problems with it then you either get good by studying the patterns and mastering the controls or honestly, just leave the game and play something else. I love CAVE shoot em ups but they're *REALLY* hard if not some of the most difficult ones in the world. If I play one I just lower the difficulty and deal with it, if I can't finish the hardest difficulty without losing a single life for some sweet achievement only 0.00000000001% of the players legitimately got then I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ QUIT. I don't go to the forums to ask for a port of a 7 year old game to be made easier for me because I'm not good enough.
What are these people looking for? Other people to agree with them, so that they get some satisfaction from that to alleviate the inferiority complex caused by getting owned by the game? I don't get it.
This game is nothing ridiculous, and it's only a matter of sticking with it and practicing the levels a bit instead of crying on the forums. This game wouldn't even be fun if one was able to just rush through the levels on first attempt. It's about overcoming challenges, not mindlessly pressing buttons and looking at things go boom. There are plenty of games for that purpose (like 90% of all games.)
Asking for every game to be dumbed down just because you can't enjoy a challenging game is selfish and idiotic.
There was never any argument to be had and the initial provocation was way too weak to justify a response this vicious.
I felt like this could have been settled a lot more quietly, but now the damage is done. Let's leave this thread alone.
I don't see people refunding Undertale because of the community even years ago.
My point is OP is a baby. Congratulations.
However in overwatch the community can effect your gameplay because the entire concept is built on teamwork.
And I'd laugh even harder if someone refunded because their friends were poor sports because that'd be their own fault
It's still a weird reason to refund though.
Bottom line, if you find the game to be hard, keep practicing until you can beat the challenge instead of complaining that the game isn't easier.
I'd be okay with a mode like that for Cuphead as long as it disabled achievements or something.
