Broken controls

On the level Murine Corps (the one with the rat) in inkwell isle 3, during the second stage, you are required to jumo from the floor to a platform and back to avoid the rats flamethrower. Whenever I get to this part, I jump up to the top platform, and I am unable to get back down. I use Z and Down Arrow together like it says to do in the tutorial, but it does nothing, and I am stuck on the top platform. I have tried resetting my controls to default and it still does nothing. It works for me in the tutorial, but not on this level. Please Help!

Hm... Try holding down "down" first and then pressing "z." Not sure if it's a glitch or just a timing error. If it's a glitch you'll just have to either skip it and wait for it to be patched, or do the level without getting hit the other phases. You can probably contact MDHR at their website, though.

I've tried all possible timing, nothing is working. I might be able to beat it if I use twin hearts and super 2, but it will be harder. I went to their website but I couldn't find any means of contacting them. I don't really want to wait till the next patch, as this is one of the few bosses available to me and the one that is easiest to me (besides the broken controls) but if I have to, I guess I will

You might not need twin heart and immortality. Maybe if you used the energy beam it would work (if, of course, you used it as the fire comes) and it would end the phase faster.

I recently found if you use the smoke bomb, you can get behind the saws and fall down to the floor

..What? You literally just hold down and press the jump button, it should work, it isn't magically broken in your game for just that boss fight, it functions the same way for everyone.

Well, Codester, I’m sorry if not everyone experiences the same kinds of glitches and bugs that you do.
