The Devil Dragon Bug

When the Devil does his "dragon head" move I can easly get to the side where it can't reach but after his head flings back i'll at times take un seen damage it aint the smaller demons i simply take damage. Has anyone else experience it? Im trying to get to the later phases with full health and this isnt helping.

This is a common bug. Apparently, the tongue he sticks out when he goes back has a hitbox that causes damage.

You can avoid it by jumping when he does that, before he goes back, or go to one of the two openings he leaves open in the middle of the arena and crouching when he goes back in those openings (it's easier to do the last one with the smokebomb).

Yeah, I learned that when he returns, his horizontal hotbox glitches and takes up the whole width of the screen. So you can avoid it by jumping and dashing when he retreats. Also it only happens when he comes from the right side.

It's a common bug, the EASIEST and best way to take no damage for this attack, Face the head as it comes towards you, and use a smoke bomb dash towards the head just before it touches you, it will, 100% of the time place you in a safe spot so you cant get hit by him, soon as you dash though hold crouch and possibly be prepared to fire your weapon towards a side to kill a minion. I found this way to be far FAR more reliable to take 0 damage as It's necessary to get any advantage you can when you are S ranking Expert and that is one of the moves I learned.
