help with jumping

just bought the game and notice when I tap A to jump or hold A down to jump using an Xbox one controller he jumps the same height. He is suppose to jump higher when holding A down. Can't even jump on a block to complete the tutorial. Thx

did you try if you have the same issue in other games with different jump heights?

No just this game. I tap A he jumps, I hold A and jump...same height. how much difference is the jump for those that this works?

It sounds like a controller issue though, you could try different controller if you have or try if the same issue is with another game you own.

If it's not controller issue try verifying cache or reinstalling the game. This is not a bug I've heard about yet at least (or is in the bug thread).

Pomikuza,thx for screenshot. i figured it out. just was mistiming my lunge after the initial jump
