CUPHEAD - Failed to initialize Direct3D. Make sure you have at least DirectX 9.0c installed, have drivers for your graphics card and have not disabled 3D acceleration in display settings. InitializeEngineGraphics failed
someone who can help me and install the most recent DirectX and install the latest graphics drivers and it does not work my graphics are INTEL HD GRAPHICS 4000 and I do not know if it was an update but before the game worked :(

Hey, were you able to solve this issue?

It's saying you don't have Direct X 9 installed on your computer, which on new systems doesn't come by default. Usually Steam installs these dependencies for you though, which is strange.

You could just uninstall and reinstall Cuphead, this should force Direct X to install also, or you could download Direct X 9.0 from Microsoft's website.
