So before you stumble into the same exact problems with other games, check the store page. If plain "Co-op" is absent, there is no way to play the game together if you're on different computers.
Except maybe some sketchy solution giving the other guy remote access to your PC via VNC or such and configuring his inputs to be keyboard only, so he can actually send his keypresses over VNC, while you yourself can still also control your character. BUT I would NEVER do that. Granting someone remote access to my PC + having such a gimped input method is just not worth it.
