Cuphead charm + weapon tier list (also supers)
A tier list about the weapons and charms in Cuphead! Tell me what you think about them in the comments! Also this is completely ordered, so items in the same tier are ordered from the left to the right of the same tier.

Charms:
S TIER: Smoke bomb
A TIER: P.Sugar, Coffee, Extra Life
B TIER: Twin heart, Whitestone

Weapons:
A TIER: Roundabout, Charge
B TIER: Spread, Peashooter (might swap with each other, they're about the same)
C TIER: Lobber, Chaser

Supers:
A TIER: Super 1
B TIER: Super 2
D TIER: Super 3

Explanation of this i guess:
If this was pre-patch, Charge would be better than roundabout, but i think it got nerfed twice since then. Chaser is the worst in my opinion because it does barely any damage, and the EX move requires you to get very close to the enemy. (closer than charge EX) The one and ONLY reason lobber is better is the damage (and the EX but ok) it eats away at the health relatively quickly. Whitestone is basically useless unless you're doing a challenge mode or something. On top of that, if you have that equipped, the parry window is significantly smaller than normal. The 3rd super requires you to move around to control instead of actually focusing on the boss. on top of that, there are NO invincibility frames at all, so you are very vulnerable when controlling the super.
Anyway I hope this helped you in some way. Thanks for reading!
Feel free to ask questions about the placements in the comments and I will try to answer them!

Everything has an s class use.

Just gotta know which levels to use it on.

I mostly agree. Roundabout and charge are the better ones, and all of the other weapons are situational (except chaser)

Now, I don't know what do others think about this, but I love using coffee charm. I got it on like island two, and I really, really like it. I rarely ever use smoke bomb now, I agree it's insanely good, but man it's just so satisfying to see that super meter fill up super fast!

I don't know why is twin hearts worse than extra life, the damage reduction is very, very small and won't even matter unless you're trying to S Rank bosses.

Personally, I don't feel like I ever needed parry sugar but it can be quite useful on certain levels. Whetstone on the other hand... I have used only once.

As for shots, I mostly use roundabout and charge, what a coincidence :mugman:
I rarely use chaser and spread, I feel like I can do the job just as good with
other weapons, or even better.

Supers? Using 1 80% of the time. I really should start using more of the super art 2 though, it's quite good when used properly. Super art 3 can deal more damage in theory, but in practice you either fail to deal as much damage or just end up taking damage yourself. I need to practice this one to actually be able to talk about it though.

So yeah, that's all from me on this topic.

I recently have been playing expert mode again, and I have to say, I might move coffee up 1 spot. To begin with, they were both relatively close and can be easily swapped, but coffee is just so helpful sometimes! P. Sugar is SUPER MANDATORY for phantom express for S rank on expert.I may have overestimated it a bit though.

For me, optimal generic setup was peashooter and spread then later roundabout and lobber, I don't really see too good of a use for charge but im also dumb.

Charge is a bit difficult to get used to, but it deals nasty damage and pretty good for focusing on dodging a bit. Lobber Is actually not a bad weapon but it's not good for a decent amount of stages. It's busted on grim matchstick and a few others though.
