How do you S-rank Funhouse Frazzle?

I've recently decided to go back and work on trying to S-rank all of the stages in Cuphead, but for some reason I can't seem to get an S-rank for Funhouse Frazzle

At first I thought A+ was just the highest you can go for Run-and-Gun levels, but I have S-ranks for the two Run-and-Guns on the first island... am I missing something here? I completed this level perfectly multiple times and I don't know what else to do

Edit: I know that P-ranks exist and they're technically the highest rank, but I'm counting those different from the "regular" ranks considering their conditions of not shooting anything

You can get P ranks on run N gun levels,

That's for pacifist, you beat the levels without killing any enemies, and is higher than S rank. GL, Some of the levels it's pretty easy, some of them you'll likely believe it's impossible XD

I'm confused why I'm not getting an S-rank

I'm not sure S is possibleon all the run and gun levels, but if it is, make sure the last regular boss you fought was on expert. That should lock you into the 3 star difficulty.

I tried doing that to see if that was the issue; it's not

If you want to get the max rank on the run and gun levels, i recommend getting the 2 more hitpoints and find a guide online on how to beat em with P rank.

I've already gotten P-ranks on every single run n' gun level, I was just wondering if anyone knew how to replicate getting an S-rank on one because frankly I'm confused as to how I did it

For future reference if anyone is reading this, please don't reply just to recommend me to get P-ranks instead because I am not asking how to obtain a P-rank, I know full and well what they are and they don't pertain to my question

It's a glitch. You can't normally get an S-Rank in a run 'n' gun level. P for those levels is the equivalent of an S rank for bosses. You would know all of this - as well as how the glitch works - if you had just spent a single second googling or using the search function of this forum.

Didn't realize it was a glitch, I already tried looking it up before and everything I looked at just said "P-rank is the highest rank" which is the only reason I bothered making this post
