Charged Or Roundabout!?

I'm on Isle 2 and I have beaten Djimmi, von Bon Bon and Rollercoaster Clown Guy. I did the first run & gun and managed to get 4 coins. So, what do you guys think I should buy!?

Thanks. Oh and what perks do you think I should buy!? I already have the additional health and smoke bomb. A lot of people recommend me the Coffee perk.

Coffee is very useful once you have more experience with the game like for getting S Ranks and stuff like that because it does a ton of damage and makes bosses die quickly helping to get a good time at the end of the battle, which is very important to get an S rank. But if you're just trying to beat the bosses I recommend sugar.

A lot of players recommend sugar for the Phantom Express, I'll make sure to get it before the Coffee perk. But thanks for the replies you helped a lot :D

Charged is meh versus PE but Roundabout is even worse. Go for Charged. It is good in any battles where you have large windows of time to charge.

Yeah I bought Charged and it was my best purchase so far. Never should've spended coins in that stupid no aiming green thingy.

That weapon is weakest one in the game, it is useful in specific moments tho.

I only found it useful in the Cagney Carnation boss, it was useful for taking down those tiny flowers he spawns.

What actually helped me was Spread, useful af in the Clown Boss

the chaser can be really good for the 4th phase of phantom express if you're having trouble with that. roundabout has a lot of good uses so i'd recommend getting that soon; useful for king dice when paired with charge for the casino bosses, and has relatively high DPS.

Roundabout does pretty solid damage, does more damage if you are facing away and let your shots hook around to hit them (though this is better against some bosses than others), ect.

Really, all of the weapons have their uses, it just depends on the particular boss. Experimenting with weapons is really helpful and makes the game a lot easier.

I think the damage remains the same but your range is bigger.
