Controller + Keyboard Co-op?

Is it possible one player to play with the controller and the other with the keyboard? I've been trying to use each one for a player but both are assigned to player 1. Any ideas if I can assign the controller/keyboard to player 2?

you have to remove the controller in the options menu, then just press some keys on it when p1's in the game.
