Any other games like this?
I just really liked this idea of having a game filled with just boss fights.

Other than Shadow of the Colossus and Megaman, do you guys have any other recommendations?

If boss fights are all you want, no regards to genre, give Furi a shot. Nothing but bosses in that one.
I'm not personally a huge fan, but you may like Titan Souls.

If you like Megaman, Shovel Knight is a fantastic game.

This game is part of the run n' gun genre. Search for Contra, Metal Slug, Gunstar Heroes, and Alien Soldier. The Cuphead developers have clearly studied all of these.

If you're looking for another platformer with difficulty I would recommend Wings of Vi.

Hollow Knight is a good platformer with tons of boss fights

Hollow Knight is incredible, however it is more of a Metroidvania than a "boss fight" game. Same thing goes for Contra, Metal Slug, Gunstar Heroes....those are awesome examples of run'n'gun, however Cuphead is more akin to games like Furi / Titan Souls where the boss is the level. I'm having a real hard time coming up with other names though, games that do this are soooo rare :\

I can actually think of several games where the bosses are the highlights, but not many where there's just bosses. No More Heroes and God Hand are the ones that immediately come to mind, Alien Soldier's an oldie but a goodie, and... That's it, actually. Not many games even have boss fights in the first place, these days.

I'd say Gunstar Heroes. I know some might call it a "run-n-gun" but it was a bit more like Cuphead, where the actual normal "level" bits were short, and mostly just an excuse to ferry you to a billion boss fights.

Heck, King Dice in this game seems to be inspired by Black in Gunstar. Very similar, in that fight you had to get through this funky board game first, where he'd roll dice and whatever space you landed on determined which sub-boss you'd fight, until you reached the final space to fight Black himself. Where he then fought you by rolling dice and moving himself around the "spaces" that made up the walls, because why not.

Also Gunstar had Seven Force. Most awesome boss fight ever (though you didnt see the entire thing unless you were on hard mode).

Well darn, I might have to give Gunstar Heroes another go :P

Titan souls is a straight boss rush, although it has one giant design flaw that completely ruins it.

This game sometimes plays similarly as Touhou (especially with the attacks of the bosses that are pretty much like bullets), so yeah a good alternative would be Touhou.
Attention though, Touhou is much harder.

Gunstar Heroes is probably the nearest game to Cuphead that you'll find amongst it's inspirations, so if you loved Cuphead then you'll love Gunstar Heroes.

Furi. Nothing but boss fights.

Titan Souls.
But expect 3minute walks to the boss each time you die, which is a lot

If you like boss rush like me, try Furi, Titan Souls.
if you like run and gun, then try Gunstar heroes. Game seems like it took some insparation from the game as well, especially to last act. :D Probably my favorite platformer.

If you want the whole package of difficult platformer and amazing bosses, definitely try Wings of Vi. Game tough as nails but the bosses are incredbly fun and very satisfying to beat.
