If anyone has any tips for the Cigar and the Rabbit, they would be much appreciated.

For the rabbit most people say the smoke bomb charm is the best to dodge most of the rabbits attacks. For the cigar his fire moves around in the circle so the best way to dodge them is to run under them in a back in and forth motion.Jumping just increases your chances of getting hit from my experience.

The Cigar is made much easier by the dash upgrade. Once you see him disappearing dash to his previous island and the upgrade will let you ignore the little flying demons. To dodge the fireballs just position yourself on the back of your platform to dodge the first loop then the front to dodge the second loop.

No special tactic about the rabbit, just wait on the central platform for the rotating skulls until you see which side has the opening then go through it. Parry the pink projectile when he sends the full line up or down to avoid that mechanic.

I was hoping to avoid re-equipping the smoke grenade to take advantage of the +2 hearts (because this is the only stage where you can get more), But I'll try again with it.
Thanks for the help guys. :)

To help out with the health on that level, I would recommend trying to practice a bit with the dice roll. With some practice you can easily get the die to land on the number you want giving you addditional health on certain parts (and other times just skipping fights entirely).

I wish I was good at making the die roll on what I wanted I ended up having to fight every single boss due to poor die rolls.

You've gotten some good advice in here, already, but I wanted to chime in and second the smoke dash charm. The number of times it can save you during all of those fights is worth way more than 2 hearts. For example, the boss on number 7 you can dash right through her when she attacks, completely trivializing that encounter.

Good luck and keep fighting!

I found that jumping on the roll *after* the one I wanted and parrying on the downward arc seemed to work.

I think there should be an achievement for hitting every number on that fight personally.

Use the dash upgrade. On the rabbit, stand on the card until the skulls are right up close to you and then dash towards the boss (because you're shooting him), you don't even have to pay attention to where the gap is. Then just make sure to parry the symbols as they go up/down. Use the invincibility super during the symbols if it's giving you trouble.

Most of these bosses die fastest with the charge shot.

Got it, I'll be using the smoke grenade from now on, thanks guys. :)

My only saving grace in the whole Boss rush was charged shots if not for them I would had died. Also I was unfortuante enough to not have bought smoke dash until after I beat the game.
