How long to beat?
How many hours of gameplay does this game offer? I know it varies, but what's a good average time I can expect?

same question, about to buy, but think it will be too short

28 bosses, supposedly. They mostly take less than 2 minutes each to beat on a successful try. So the answer is: not long if you do well.

Have you played old arcade games, NES? Were you good at them? About 5 hours or less.

If not - any amount of time and a boat load of patience.

I haven't played it but regardless of the length these types of games encourage multible play throughs. Plus, you won't burn through this game because of the difficulty. You'll get mad and put the game away for a bit. Lol. Then you'll come back and play more. I plan to buy it today.

I've been reading about 6 - 8 hours.

This game will vary from person to person because of its difficultly. I beat the first world in about an hour, and it took a non gamery friend of mine almost 3 hours to do the same. Seems like its very repayable after you beat it too!

The game has been out for a couple of days and that's exactly what I did. No data.

If you are a perfectionist each level has grading system based on how much damage you took, parrys, time, and how much of your special attack you have used. (I'm sure there is an achievement for this ) There is also a Expert mode that speeds up the game, and unlockable black and white mode that requires you to beat stages without shooting anything. Fun extra challanges that you might want to tackle after you finish the game.

It is a bit of a short game, but the artwork is soo good and I love the music. I just beat it and I plan on playing through to try to get an A rank on every level
I have already put 5 hours in and I just got on to the second isle. I'm not very good tho. (there are 3 isle btw)

Depends entirely on how good you are and what you mean by beat.
