I purchased a mac to dev on, but it would also be pretty sweet to play games like this on it while I'm out and about.
Many only wants a good laptop and a Mac is a good one. Also it's more versatile for devs (like me).

"Cuphead might not be on Mac directly at launch, but we have plans to support it!"

"Cuphead is lifetime exclusive on Xbox for the console space, but in the PC space it’s going to be on every platform we can. So we’ll launch on PC and look into Mac and Linux thereafter."
I followed these instructions. https://twitter.com/AndreaBogazzi/status/914303850630311936
I also installed ControllerMate to map my gamepad to keys (changing dash from shift to d). It's perfect, and I can talk to NPC's without unplugging my gamepad like I have to in Windows!

Where's the rest of this sentence? Is there an alternative to buying this from Steam?
It's available on GOG
SHUT UP!
I did. I have a MacPro 2013. I develop games on it, and I play games on it. I bought a Mac because I want a good user experience.
