You don't purchase a mac to play games.

I purchased a mac to dev on, but it would also be pretty sweet to play games like this on it while I'm out and about.

Many only wants a good laptop and a Mac is a good one. Also it's more versatile for devs (like me).

"Cuphead might not be on Mac directly at launch, but we have plans to support it!"

"Cuphead is lifetime exclusive on Xbox for the console space, but in the PC space it’s going to be on every platform we can. So we’ll launch on PC and look into Mac and Linux thereafter."

It runs better under Mac than in Windows!!! No controller bugs. No random lags!!!

I followed these instructions. https://twitter.com/AndreaBogazzi/status/914303850630311936

I also installed ControllerMate to map my gamepad to keys (changing dash from shift to d). It's perfect, and I can talk to NPC's without unplugging my gamepad like I have to in Windows!

"Step 2 get a copy of CupHead From"
Where's the rest of this sentence? Is there an alternative to buying this from Steam?

This is an old trope, and becomes less and less true with the passing time. I refuse to buy a PC solely to play games that are easily portable. What we should always do as mac users is to inform the developers that yes, mac users buy games.

I did. I have a MacPro 2013. I develop games on it, and I play games on it. I bought a Mac because I want a good user experience.
