Grim matchsticks is basically unbeatable

Yeah I get to phase 4 and he just kicks my ass. Like, i have tried everything, I found out what way his fires go in phase 3 so thats easy enough, but phase 4? The bubble attack is the worst thing in the game, so im basically stuck in world 2 because I cant beat him.

Try him at simple Mode and you can continue on World 3. But Regular is nearly impossible.

Don't burst the bubbles, stay high or low when he uses the flamethrower. Still tough but beatable. Rebound weapon is nice for phase 2-3 (keep going right while shooting backwards).

Try using a slower attacking move such as charged shot to not burst his flame bubbles. To dodge his flamethrower attack either be at the top or bottom of the screen avoid the middle of the stage.

Grim was pretty hard. I would recommend being selective with your shots once you hit the final stage so that you can avoid popping the bubbles. Charge shot or that Lob one works pretty well since each shot hits much harder than the rapid fire of the normal attack.

For the last phase, just remember that shooting the bubbles is what makes them explode into 5 pieces. Also, Just staying on the highest clouds as much as you can should ensure that the flamethrower doesn't get you. It's definitely hard at first, but once you know not to shoot the bubbles it isn't so bad.

Try saving your Super 2 for his final phase, and use the homming attack on phase 2 so you can focus on watching which way the fire minions are going to jump.

Try and stay high and time your special to land you on a cloud during his fire breath atttack. Stay calm and make sure to not hit his flame bubbles and you can do it!

He sucks, but it's not impossible. Use homing shots at phase 2. Charge shot at phase 3. Stay very high whe you suspect he's going to use his flamethrower and obviously avoid bubbe bursting.

Charge Shot is your friend; it takes patience and more percision, but the attack power is good compensation.

You'll HATE junkyard then. Charge shot is your friend with Mr. dragon. It takes ike 8 shots to kill him in p4. Well, 8-12, I didn't count. But the whole fight was over in like 1:30 so it wasn't a lot.

I've had trouble with this until I try using Chaser + Lob, used Lob for 1st phase, Chaser for 2nd phase, and Lob for 3rd phase.

I didn't realize you can actually burst the bubbles. Huh.

I find wiggling the control stick during the fire march stage fools the flame dudes, the jump seemingling to where you go. I find it confuses them. I was able to beat Grim that way. Also avoid using homing shot on the final stage.
