How to use the Super?

To use a super you need a full super card (bottom left corner) of which you can have up to five. If you then press the button you assigned for the super move it'll consume 1 card for the basic move and all 5 for the upgraded version provided that you have one.

I have the same problem but the game never had a button to assign the super to

if you dont have a button to use the super, assign one
then parry 5 times (or keep shooting enemies until you have 5 cards) and then press the button for the super

First you have to equipt the super. Then after entering a Bossfight/run-n-gun-level, you have to get 5 cards you gain through hitting your target. when you have 5 cards ready, press the key you have set for activating your super (Default key is "E" if you haven't changed it in the options menu) to fire the Super.

or you can parry 5 times

Ok, well I figured it out, and you don't press a separate button for the super. You get all five cards and press the EX button.
